We analyzed the lexicon of women in 16 countries struggling with uterine fibroids.

A small, limited lexicon in an Eastern European nation, compared to other countries, caught our eye.

Close examination of the conversational context among women in this nation, and their patterns of sharing pointed to a regular behavior that could be a cultural model (CM).

Our analysts checked this behavior against our CM database, and found shame surrounding infertility and a CM of “proper wifehood” was keeping women from sharing information, even with their doctors.

Lack of information can result in undertreatment, impacting the buying process in that country.
